After you submit
What happens next
This page explains each stage of the Regent Record Check support process so you know exactly what to expect.
Your request reaches our team
When you submit the form you receive a Regent reference beginning with RRC. This confirms that your initial support request has been sent to our team. It is not confirmation of any certificate, official application, payment or authority decision.
Continue to payment
After you deliberately submit the completed form and the request reaches the support team, the site continues to payment for the selected route. No payment is taken before that submission.
We review your case
Our support team reviews your requirements and contacts you using your preferred contact method if anything is missing or unclear.
Your file is prepared and checked
We prepare and check your application file and give you a tailored checklist of what the relevant route requires.
You receive a status notification
We send an email status notification when the Regent support process is completed, or email delivery or notification according to the relevant issuing route.
Timeframes
Standard Route: target completion within 14 working days. Express Route: target completion within 7 working days.
The stated timeframe starts after a complete file and all required information have been received. Missing information, additional checks and external-authority processing may affect completion.
What we cannot do
- We cannot issue a criminal-record certificate.
- We cannot influence, accelerate or guarantee any decision made by an external authority.
- We cannot guarantee the processing time of any police force, government department, embassy or consulate.
